Southampton Weather Today: Rain To Play Spoilsport Again?

The final match of the World Test Championship between India and New Zealand has reached an exciting juncture at this time, where the result of the match can go in the favor of either team.

The first session of India vs New Zealand WTC Final Day 4 will prove to be very important for both the teams. However, on the fourth day of the match, rain can spoil the hopes of the fans hoping for a great contest.

According to weather reports, there is a possibility of rain throughout the day in Southampton on Monday. Since the sun is not going to come out, even if the rain stops midway, showers and bad light will most likely interrupt the day's proceedings at regular intervals, hence, the chances of a game happening at Southampton are very slim.

India has picked three pacers and two spinners. While the Top 5 remain as expected. The batting order - Rohit Sharma, Shubhman Gill, Virat Kohli, Pujara, Rahane and Rishabh Pant - was more or less predictable.

The water over here looks alarming. It was a dreadful day at the WTC Final Day 4. ICC must be mindful of the schedules of such important international matches. Venues with less chances of rain should be preferred.

Draw On The Cards?

Southampton: Only 141 overs bowled so far over the 4 days of the Test match. The players and fans would be frustrated but the silver lining remains that there are still two full days of cricket remaining.

The second innings is not yet complete. This match looks more or less going in favour of a draw.
