Ind vs Aus, 4th Test: Mohammed Siraj And Washington Sundar Targeted By Abusive Spectators At Gabba
India vs Australia, 4th Test: Washington Sundar is making his Test debut with Ind vs Aus 4th Test, while this is Mohammed Siraj's third Test match.
Ind vs Aus, Border-Gavaskar Trophy: Some vocal spectators used foul language for Indian fast bowler Mohammad Siraj on Day 1 of India vs Australia Brisbane Test. According to the Sydney Morning Herald, some abusive spectators at the Gabba repeataedly used abusive language for Washington Sundar and Mohammed Siraj. As per the report, both Siraj and Sundar were labelled ‘grubs’ by a group of abusive spectators.
Washington Sundar is making his Test debut with Ind vs Aus 4th Test, while this is Mohammed Siraj's third Test match. Earlier, Ind vs Aus third Test match was played at Sydney Cricket Ground, where spectators had made racial taunts on Siraj.

There was a lot of controversy about this and even the match had to be stopped midway after Siraj complained to the umpire about what was happening with him on the field. After this, a group of six spectators were kicked out of the stadium by the police. Now, reportedly, some spectators used indecent language for Siraj and Washington Sundar at Brisbane's Gabba.
Speaking of the match, on the first day, Marnus Labuschange played a heroic knock of 108 runs to help Australia reach 274/5 at Stumps on Day 1. Apart from him, Matthew Wade contributed with 45 runs. Cameron Green scored 28 and skipper Tim Paine 38 remained unbeaten at the crease. Matthew Wade had scored 45 runs. For India, T Natarajan took two wickets, while Mohammad Siraj, Shardul Thakur and Washington Sundar picked one wicket each.

The Indian team entered the Brisbane Test with four changes from last game. T Natarajan and Washington Sundar made their Test debut for India. Natarajan became the 300th player to debut for India in Test format. Natarajan was handed the Test cap by bowling coach Bharat Arun, while Ravichandran Ashwin gave the Test cap to Washington Sundar and wished him the best.
