IND vs SA Highlights: South Africa Beat India By 49 Runs In Last T20I To Make Tally 2-1

Background

The Indian team will be facing South Africa in the third T20I on Tuesday at  Holkar Stadium, Indore.  India already have an edge as they are leading 2-0 in the series.

Earlier, after batting first, Suryakumar Yadav (61 off 22 balls) and KL Rahul (57 off 28 balls) starred for the Men in Blue and crucial innings from Rohit Sharma (43 off 37 balls) and Virat Kohli (49 not out) powered India to a huge total of 237 runs.

South Africa fought hard with the help of a brilliant century from David Miller (106 not out off 47 balls) but it went in vain as India crushed them by 16 runs. Bowlers of both teams were pretty loose as a total of 450 runs were put on board by batters of India and South Africa. With only one game remaining before the T20 World Cup, death over bowling is still a major issue for the team.

After a terrible outing in Asia Cup 2022, Rohit Sharma & Co. have bounced back strongly by winning the T20 series first against Australia and now South Africa. This will give them a lot of confidence ahead of T20 World Cup 2022. The Rohit Sharma-led Indian team will be eyeing a clean sweep here on Tuesday.  On the other hand, Bavuma, the South African skipper has struggled with his willow as he scored ducks in both the matches. South Africa will be hoping for a strong start in this match.
