The Rohit Sharma-led men in blue will be facing Australia in a three-match T20 series starting on Tuesday, September 20 at IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali. The series against Australia and South Africa will be the final rehearsal for the Indian team ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022.
This series will give an opportunity to the head coach Rahul Dravid and skipper Rohit Sharma to experiment with their bench strengths. Team India had a terrible run at the recently passed Asia Cup 2022. Questions were asked about the team combination that Rohit’s Indian team followed. Almost in all the matches, they played different players. It will be interesting to see what team combination the Indian team will go with.
