Holi 2024: Sports Fraternity Extends 'Colourful And Joyous' Wishes On Festival

Holi 2024: Several members from the Indian sporting fraternity have taken to social media to wish everyone on the Festival of Colours.

Holi 2024: Members of the Indian sporting fraternity have extended their wishes on Holi 2024 with the festival being celebrated in most parts of India on March 25 (Monday). A few members of community even took to social media to share a glimpse of how they were celebrating the festival. Social media has been filled with greetings on the Festival of Colours from personalities belonging to different fields and those from the sporting arena have not been far behind either.

"Wishing everyone a very happy Holi," Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar posted on X.




BCCI Secretary Jay Shah also took to X to share his best wishes. "Happy Holi to all! May this vibrant festival of colors fill your life with joy, love, and togetherness. Wishing everyone a colorful and safe celebration," he wrote on the micro-blogging site.

Saina Nehwal, the star Indian shuttler, also wished her followers and fans on social media a Happy Holi while sharing pictures from her family vacation.

Wrestler Babita Phogat extended a "colourful and joyous" festival on X.

Ex-India cricketers Virender Sehwag and VVS Laxman among other members also shared their wishes on social media.

Rohit Sharma was also spotted celebrating Holi with his Mumbai Indians (MI) teammates.

Wishes continue to flood in on social media, on Instagram stories and official handles of sporting personalities, teams and associations and boards as the report was filed.
