India's men's hockey team made history by winning their record 5th Asian Champions Trophy title in Hulunbuir City, China. In a nail-biting final, India narrowly defeated the hosts 1-0, clinching back-to-back titles following their triumph in Chennai last year.

Interestingly, Pakistani players, dressed in tracksuits, were observed cheering for China and waving Chinese flags during IND vs CHN Asian Champions Trophy 2024 Final match.

Pakistan's Asian Champions Trophy campaign ended with a bronze medal as they triumphed 5-2 over Korea in today's third-place match.

China beats Pakistan in the semifinals

Pakistan, a strong contender for the Asian Champions Trophy final, saw their aspirations end in the semifinals against hosts China. The match ended 1-1 in regular time, and in the penalty shootout, Pakistan was unable to score, while China converted two penalties to win 1-1 (2-0).

Fifth Asian Champions Trophy title for India

India's hockey team triumphed 1-0 over China in Asian Champions Trophy 2024 final, winning the title for record fifth time. After a goalless first three quarters, Jugraj Singh scored the only goal in the fourth quarter, securing the championship for Men in Blue.

After an aggressive start, both teams tightened their defenses, resulting in a goalless stalemate. Jugraj Singh broke the deadlock with a crucial goal in the 51st minute (4th quarter), leading Harmanpreet Singh's India to victory. In their earlier meeting in the tournament’s opening match, India had won 3-0.
