Key Points From Pep Guardiola's Press Conference Ahead Of Manchester City Vs Arsenal
Pep Guardiola talked about the injury updates of the rest of the players, who have made their way back to the club in fit conditions, after a gruesome international break, as national sides are preparing for the upcoming Copa America 2024 and Euro 2024.
“Ederson is doing much better, Manuel Akanji will be 100% ready and available to face Arsenal. Walker and Stones will be out. This season has been really good, winning two titles after what happened last season. We are in contention for three main titles of the season. We make incredible work. [We're into the] last ten games of Premier League, we start an important time. The people will give us what we need to perform our best," said the three-time UEFA Champions League winning coach during the press conference.
The Spaniard also added the fact that legendary midfielder Kevin De Bruyne glues this team together and that he is always a pivotal figure in the starting XI.
"Kevin [De Bruyne] is so important. It has been a tough season for him with injuries. He has been out for a long time. He trained really well yesterday. We will see what he does in the next few days," he added.
