Inter Miami Vs Montreal: Callender Commits Horrid Goalkeeping Blunder, Followed By Even Poorer Finishing As Messi-Less Miami Lose 2-3 - WATCH

It was an entertaining MLS 2024 fixture between Inter Miami and Montreal, with Inter keeper Callender committing THIS blunder. WATCH.

Drake Callender had a forgettable game as his ordinary positioning and reflexes against Montreal led to Inter Miami's loss

Inter Miami Vs Montreal: Inter Miami have suffered their first loss in Major League Soccer 2024 as a Messi-less Inter Miami lost 2-3 at home to Montreal. The defeat comes in as a major roadblock to the momentum of Iter Miami, who were without the services of Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Luis Suarez in the starting XI, with the latter two coming on in the seocnd half. The absence of former FC Barcelona legends shows the reliance of the team on the starlets and the lack of depth in the squad in terms of match winners.

However, the most viral and shocking of the match came in during the 12th minute, when a long ball from Montreal's own half landed near the box of Inter Miami, and Drake Callender moved in an advanced position to be a sweeper keeper, but failed in his attempt as his horrible misjudgement to head way the ball was met by Matias Coccaro, who had an open goal to tap in with his weak foot. 

What followed afterwards was even more embarrassing to watch as Coccaro tried to do some trickery and slot in after few touches, but Inter Miami's defence rushed in to block his attempt and what got concluded was a 30-second segment of utter mediocre football from either sides.
