FIFA World Cup 2022 Qualifiers: Along with Portugal, Ghana, Senegal, Poland, Tunisia, Morocco and Cameroon became the other nations to qualify for the World Cup on Wednesday.
Qatar 2022 Qualifiers: Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal qualified for the FIFA World Cup that is set to take place in Qatar. Bruno Fernandes scored two goals against North Macedonia to seal the match and book Portugal a ticket to Qatar for the 2022 World Cup. Cristiano Ronaldo will now be participating in his fifth football World Cup.
Before the match started, Cristiano Ronaldo had assured his fans that they won't be seeing an upset against North Macedonia like the one last week against Italy. Portugal is now among the 27 other nations that have qualified for the World Cup.

Along with Portugal, Ghana, Senegal, Poland, Tunisia, Morocco and Cameroon became the other nations to qualify for the World Cup on Wednesday.
Egypt vs Senegal (Senegal win on penalties)
In a qualifying match that was played over two legs ended in a 1-1 draw, thus, going into the penalty shootouts. Surprisingly, Mohammed Salah missed a penalty during the shootout, followed by Zizo and Mostafa Mohamed who missed the penalties.
Sadio Mane scored the winning penalty for Senegal to secure a place in the World Cup 2022.
In other matches, Cameroon defeated Algeria as they scored a late winner in the 120+4th minute to seal their place for Qatar 2022. Poland also secured a place as Lewandowski and Zielinski scored to defeat Sweden.
