'Too Much Junk...': England Cricketer Says 'Bye' To Fans After Losing Blue Tick On Twitter
Sam Curran, who logged in on Twitter after a year's gap, noticed that the blue tick has been removed from his account, which seemingly made him upset.
England cricket team's all-rounder Tom Curran, member of England's 2019 ODI World Cup-winning team, confirmed he won't use microblogging platform Twitter after losing the blue tick. Curran was inactive on the social media platform as he made his first tweet after almost a year. After logging in on Twitter, he noticed that the blue tick has been removed from his account, which seemingly made him upset.
"Haha just seen I’ve lost my blue tick too. Not that that is important! Is that the $7 Elon Musk thing? Haha that’s funny. Still hate twitter. Probs not come on for ages again. Be kind on here ppl. That’s all. Bye," Tom Curran wrote on Twitter.

Over 66,000 accounts follow Sam Curran on the social media platform. He tweeted about his upcoming Pakistan Super League stint before saying 'bye' to his fans.
"My first tweet in what must be years. Too much junk on here never use it. The great man calls however I must respond also seems a good time to say that I’m super excited to be joining @IsbUnited for this years PSL, I CANNOT WAIT to get to Pakistan for the first time," he wrote.
