'Kya Gunda Banega Re Tu': Wasim Jaffer Uses Hera Pheri Meme To Troll England
The meme shared by Wasim Jaffer is based on a Bollywood film 'Hera Pheri, which reads: 'Kya Gunda Banega Re Tu'.
In the England vs New Zealand 1st Test played at Lord's stadium, New Zealand had set a target of 273 runs for England to win. Chasing the target in 75 overs for victory, the English team scored 170 runs for loss of 3 wickets in 70 overs. However, looking at the defensive approach of the England batsmen, it was clearly evident that they preferred to play out time to just end the Test in a draw. Reacting to England's defensive approach, former India cricketer Wasim Jaffer took to Twitter to troll England by sharing a meme.
Jaffer shared a popular 'Hera Pheri' meme via his official handle and wrote, 'If you are not even trying to chase the target of 3.6 per over at your home, that too when WTC points are not at stake, when will you ever try? Not a good advert for test cricket."
The meme shared by Jaffer is based on a Bollywood film 'Hera Pheri, which reads:'Kya Gunda Banega Re Tu'.
Earlier, when New Zealand had scored 169/6 in the second innings, lunch break had to be taken early due to rain and New Zealand declared their second innings. Fast bowler Ollie Robinson, making his debut for England, performed brilliantly in the second innings, picking three wickets for just 26 runs.
Brief scores: New Zealand: 378 all out and 169 for 6 wkts declared (Tom Lathan 36, Ross Taylor 33, Ollie Robinson 3/26); England 275 all out and 56/2 wkts (Dominic Sibley 60, Joe Root 40, Rory Burns 25, Neil Wagner 2/27)
