CSK vs KKR: In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 final match will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders today at Dubai International Stadium on Friday.  Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led three-time IPL winners Chennai will take on Eoin Morgan-led two-time IPL winners Kolkata.

Both the teams, who have reached the summit clash by defeating Delhi Capitals this season, did not have made it to the playoffs of last season, but this time they have surprised everyone with their performance by making a strong comeback. Chennai have defeated Kolkata in both the matches they played in IPL 2021 League stage.

CSK have a great winning record against KKR in the IPL. But in the last five matches, KKR has had the upper hand and has won all five matches. 

Chennai has an excellent record of 17-9 against Kolkata in the IPL. Kolkata has reached the IPL final twice in 2012 and 2014 and has emerged as the champions on both the occasions. On the other hand, Chennai would like to capture the IPL trophy for the fourth time. The yellow army have previously won the IPL title thrice in 2010, 2011 and 2018. 

In the second phase of IPL 2021 in UAE, Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings have locked horns twice before and both times Dhoni-led Yellow Army have managed to beat them. In the first leg, Chennai attained an 18-run win over Kolkata, while in the UAE phase, CSK won by two wickets.
