Southampton: Two sessions of Day 4 of the World Test Championship have been washed out completely. There's almost no chance of any play happening. 'Gloomy' sounds like a good word to describe the current state of the WTC Final. 

Meanwhile, a video is going viral after it was retweeted by Dinesh Karthik on Twitter. In the video, we see Dinesh Karthik standing in the first-floor gallery near the pavilion at Ageas Bowl in Southampton. Virat Kohli is entering the dressing room and jokes along with DK as he spots the cricketer-turned-commentator Dinesh Karthik. But, their conversation is not audible to the fans. Many of them are trying to guess what Kohli says to Dinesh Karthik.

Dinesh Karthik re-tweeted this video on his timeline. Looks like the video has been taken on Day 3 of the World Test Championship Final. 

Currently, Dinesh Karthik is part of the official commentary team of the World Test Championship (WTC Final). It is the first time we are seeing the wicket-keeper in the role of a commentator. Karthik will be in action in September when the Indian Premier League (IPL) resumes. 

Meanwhile, play continues to be suspended in Southampton due to continues rain-fall. The latest weather update from Southampton came from Michael Atherton. "Rain is falling gently, but steadily, so there's no respite. The outfield is also sodden!

The spectators are hopeful but the prospects for any play happening on Day 4 are not good, I am afraid. Covers are on and it is still very wet," he said on Hotstar.
