Gujarat Giants (GG) secured their first points on the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 table with a 19-run victory against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on March 6 (Wednesday) at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium. Captain Beth Mooney exhibited her batting prowess by contributing 85 runs, playing a crucial role in GG's triumph over Smriti Mandhana’s RCB.
With this victory, Gujarat Giants have now accumulated two points in the WPL 2024 points table. Having a chance to claim the top position in the standings, Royal Challengers Bangalore fell short by 19 runs against Gujarat Giants and maintain their position in the second spot.
