IND vs ENG 3rd Test: During the third day of India vs England 3rd Test in Rajkot, the Indian team took to the field donning black bands. This gesture was in honor of the late Dattajirao Gaikwad, a former India captain and the oldest Test cricketer for India, who recently passed away.
Dattajirao Gaikwad passed away in Baroda at the age of 95. He made his debut in 1952 and scored 350 runs across 11 Test matches for the Indian national cricket team. Remarkably, Gaikwad held the distinction of being the longest-living Indian cricketer.

Gaikwad amassed 5788 first-class runs across 110 matches, with his highest score standing at an impressive 249 not out.
