'Why Did You Shout At Ben Stokes': Neesham's Hilarious Question To Shadab After Latter Is Caught Swearing On Stump Mic

PSL 2023: Shadab was caught swearing on the stump mic after he got out in the match against Multan Sultans.

The ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) has witnessed some entertaining cricketing contests in the season and the match between Islamabad United and the Multan Sultans definitely falls in that category. The Men in Red needed 18 runs to win off the final six deliveries but Faheem Ashraf did the job for the team to help them be at par on points with the Lahore Qalandars and take a step closer to confirming a place among the top two in the table.

Even though it was eventually who emerged victorious, it wasn't an easy win for the side as they had to overcome the loss of early wickets while chasing a daunting target of 206. However, post the dismissals it was Colin Munro and captain Shadab Khan who had to re-build the innings and bring them back into the game with a great stand.

Why Did You Shout At Ben Stokes': Neesham's Hilarious Question To Shadab After Latter Is Caught Swearing On Stump Mic

Shadab took the responsibility on himself and continued to score runs after the fall of Munro's wicket and while Islamabad were in the danger of stumbling when they lost Azam Khan, Ashraf seemed like he hadn't left the wicket at all from his innings against Quetta Gladiators in the previous match as his innings took off from the word go. Just when it was beginning to look like Ashraf and Shadab will help United past the winning line, the skipper lost his wicket and yelled out in frustration.

The 24-year-old was in fact caught swearing on stump microphone and New Zealand star James Neesham was quick to take note of that as he posed a cheeky question. "Why’d you shout at Ben Stokes when you got out," he asked to which the Islamabad leader said: "@jimmyneesham because I was missing him."

Notably, Ben Stokes' name sounds similar to a Hindi-Urdu expletive with the England Test skipper already aware of it and joking about it in the past.
