Fortunes did not change for Virat Kohli at Delhi, his home ground. The RCB skipper lost his ninth toss from 12 matches. However, after making the wrong call, Kohli made a nine sign with his fingers following a fist pump
Blistering knocks from Captain Shreyas Iyer (52 off 37) and Shikhar Dhawan (50 off 37) powered Delhi Capitals to 16-runs win over Royal Challengers Bangalore on Sunday. With this win, Delhi capitals attained the 16 points it needed to seal a top-four berth and qualified for the IPL play-offs for the first time since 2012.
Fortunes did not change for Virat Kohli at Delhi, his home ground, ironically, in a city where he learned the ABC of cricket. The RCB skipper lost his ninth toss from 12 matches. However, after making the wrong call, Kohli made a nine sign with his fingers following a fist pump.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) garnered hope of making into the play-offs after registering victories in the last three face-offs. However, after losing to Delhi Capitals on Sunday evening closed all the door as they became the first team to get knocked out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019. Having suffered a 16-run defeat despite a blistering start, RCB captain Virat Kohli admitted that the home side played better in crunch moments. “We started off really well with the bat. Powerplay was outstanding and then I got going, but me and AB (de Villiers) getting out to balls that you don't get out to. That's how the game goes some times. Delhi played better than us in the crunch moments,” Kohli said.Lost 9 out of 11 tosses. Toss lo neeku chaladaridram vundi virat annnaaa. .... King kohli daaaa pic.twitter.com/JQVHZMpy75
