WATCH: Team India Arrives In Kolkata For Historic Pink Ball Test

The BCCI on Tuesday tweeted a video of team India players arriving at the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport for the second and final Test

The Indian cricket team is all set to take on Bangladesh in their first-ever D/N Test at Kolkata's Eden Gardens. The BCCI on Tuesday tweeted a video of team India players arriving at the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport for the second and final Test, scheduled to be played from November 22 to 26. Before coming to Kolkata, team India got some extra time to practice with the pink ball at the Holkar Stadium in Indore as they defeated Bangladesh inside the first three days of the first test to claim a 1-0 lead in the two-Test series. Skipper Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane touched down at around 9.40 a.m. IANS reported that coaches of the two teams, Ravi Shastri and Russell Domingo, are likely to visit Eden Gardens after landing in the city. "The coaches can go. They are scheduled to head to the Eden directly from the airport," local India team manager Samrat Bhowmick told IANS. Here’s the video… Here's what the Indian team players have said ahead of the historic maiden pink ball Test: Virat Kohli, India captain: "Our focus is to take the Indian cricket higher and higher. The motivation has been right, the intent has been right and we are going to keep pushing in that direction. The pink-ball Test is going to be exciting. It's going be a landmark event for Indian cricket and Indian Test cricket." Ajinkya Rahane, India vice-captain: "We had two good practice sessions, actually four but two with pink ball - one during the day and one under lights. It was actually exciting. For me, it was the first time I played with the pink ball and definitely it's a different ball game as compared to red ball. Our focus was to look into the swing and seam movement and also play close to our body."
