Scotland Bowler 'Reads From The Script' Before Bowling In ICC World Cup Qualifiers, Video Goes Viral

The incident happened before the bowler was about to deliver his second over of the innings.

In a never-seen-before act on a cricket field, Scotland's left-arm spinner Mark Watt on Friday (June 23) was seen reading from a piece of paper before bowling during the ICC World Cup Qualifiers against United Arab Emirates (UAE). The incident happened before Watt was about to deliver his second over. Momenst before he could start the over, he took a look at the paper as if to revise the plans that had been in place for that passage of play. Only after taking a closer look and keeping the paper back in his pocket did the bowler resume. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media. The 26-year-old cricketer eventuallly finished with match figures of  1 for 22 in his 8 overs against UAE.
