Virat Kohli Shares Picture Of His Class 10 Mark Sheet. Caption Is Pure Gold

Kohli scored 83 in English, 75 in Hindi, 51 in Mathematics and 55 in Science & Technology in his class 10 examination.

Star India cricketer Virat Kohli has shared an image of his class 10 mark sheet on Thursday. The Royal Challengers Bangalore star took to social media to share the picture and complimented it with an on-point caption.

The ex-India skipper underlined the fact that the while he had been graded on disciplines like Hindi, English, Mathematics and Science, the one domain where he made his career and what defines is character "Sports" is missing from what is considered a basic educational qualification in India.

Talking about how he fared in his high school exams, Kohli scored 83 in English, 75 in Hindi, 51 in Mathematics, 55 in Science & Technology, 81 in Social Science and 74 in Information Technology.

"It's funny how the things that add the least to your marksheet, add the most to your character. #LetThereBeSport," he captioned the post.

With the Class 10 exam results of different boards set to be declared over the course of the coming months, Virat Kohli's post is a reminder of how a marksheet cannot define an individual.

On the cricketing front, Kohli is gearing up for a brand new season of the IPL. The 34-year-old has been part the RCB camp all his career and will be donning their jersey once again this year. After having overcome a lean patch in his career, Kohli reckons he is back to batting like he used to before but there is still a lot of scope for improvement.

However, the right-handed batter was hopeful that this could be the tournament where he gets into that zone. Kohli is likely to open the batting along with Faf du Plessis in this edition of the T20 tournament. Last season was the first in which Du Plessis had led the franchise and the team reached the Playoffs but got eliminated after losing the Qualifier 2.

This year the team would want to first seal a final four berth but also go on to lift the trophy, something which they haven't been able to do in fifteen attempts so far.
