Days After Stray Dogs Bite Woman In Greater Noida's 12th Avenue, Animal Activists Storm Society. And Then...

Following a dog attack in Greater Noida, animal activists attempted to enter a housing society to check on the stray canines, prompting a confrontation with security guards and residents.

Two days after a terrifying encounter with a pack of stray dogs left a woman injured in the basement of a housing society in Greater Noida, animal activists arrived at the scene to check on the strays. The arrival of the activists, purportedly from the People For Animals (PFA), created a ruckus on the campus.

As the animal activists stormed the campus, the security guards stopped them. The activists said that the society residents had thrown out the stray dogs. They said the dogs should be relocated and not thrown out.

The ruckus raised the possibility of the situation getting out of hand, prompting the police to intervene.

Woman Mauled By Stray Dog

The arrival of the animal activists was triggered by the events following the attack on the woman at 12 Avenue, Gaur City 2, in Greater Noida a few days ago. The shocking moment was captured on video, showing the woman being surrounded and bitten before she could escape.

The footage reveals the dogs sitting idly in the basement when the unsuspecting woman walks past them. In an instant, the pack closes in, and one dog lunges, biting her calf. Another dog tugs at her trousers as she desperately tries to fend them off.

The ordeal doesn't end there. As she finally reaches the corridor and waits for the lift, the woman suddenly notices something alarming — her leg is bleeding. In the video, she shakes her foot, and blood splatters onto the floor. Limping, she steps into the elevator, visibly shaken by the attack.

The frightening incident raised serious concerns about the safety of residents in the area.

Rising Stray Dog Attacks

This is not an isolated case. Earlier this month, a horrifying discovery near a government hospital in Uttar Pradesh's Lalitpur shocked residents — a headless newborn's body was found abandoned. Authorities suspect stray dogs scavenged the infant after the family allegedly discarded the body following birth-related complications.

Another unsettling attack took place in Hyderabad, where a four-year-old child was mauled by two stray dogs while playing outside his home. The animals pounced on the unsuspecting boy, but thanks to his mother's quick intervention, the dogs retreated, sparing him from severe injuries.
