Virat Kohli Hits 200M On Instagram, Becomes First Indian To Achieve Milestone

Former Indian cricket team captain and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli became the first Indian celebrity to achieve the milestone of 200M followers mark on Instagram on Tuesday.
Kohli is one of the most loved and popular cricketers in the world and now his Instagram shows his popularity. He is well known for breaking records on the field and he is quite popular among the youngsters of India, some copy his style while others have a dream to play cricket like him.
His fans and followers are congratulating him on Twitter with his name trending all over the platform.
The cricketer is also among the most followed cricketers on Instagram in the world and the third most followed sportsman after Cristiano Ronaldo (450M) and Lionel Messi (333M).

Last year, Kohli stepped down as T20 captain after the ICC T20 World Cup in UAE. Later the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) removed Kohli as the One Day International (ODI) Captain and he was succeeded by Rohit Sharma. Kohli renounced the Test Captaincy after India’s three-test match series defeat in South Africa.
Kohli and Sharma both had been rested for India’s next T20 match series against South Africa, he will next be taking against England in the rescheduled 5th Test series from last year.
