IND vs BAN T20 World Cup warm-up fixture: The wait for India fans to witness their favorite stars in T20 World Cup action is nearly over. Rohit Sharma-led Indian team have arrived in USA and are gearing up for their first and only warm-up match against Bangladesh, tomorrow, on June 1st (Saturday).

Ahead of IND vs BAN T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up match in New York, Bangladesh's star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has showered praise on the Indian captain, Rohit Sharma.

In a video uploaded by Star Sports, Shakib lauded Rohit Sharma's brilliance as a captain and player by saying: "Rohit Sharma has a tremendous record as a captain, all the players respect him a lot as a leader and he can take the game away single handedly from the opposition."

The Indian cricket team appears fully prepared for the T20 World Cup. On May 30, the Men in Blue engaged in an extensive practice session in New York.

Captain Rohit Sharma worked on his batting skills, while Rishabh Pant focused on his wicketkeeping abilities. Interestingly, the bowlers were also spotted in the nets, wielding the bat.

Most of the Indian bowlers, including Yuzvendra Chahal and Jasprit Bumrah, were seen dedicating significant time to refining their batting skills in the nets. The Indian team's commitment to enhancing their batting depth is evident, recognizing the importance of every run in the shortest format of the game.

After warm-up match against Bangladesh on Saturday, India begins their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign with a match against Ireland on June 5 (Wednesday).
