Shubman Gill's Pull Shot Against Bangladesh's Nahid Rana Leaves KL Rahul In Awe— WATCH

Shubman Gill's pull shot against Nahid Rana on Day 3 of the IND vs BAN Test in Chennai made KL Rahul react with awe, a video of which goes viral on social media.

India are up against Bangladesh and have a strong hold on the first IND vs BAN Test at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Indian batters and bowlers have contributed equally well to help India get on the driver’s seat in the match against Bangladesh. One of the standout performances with the bat came from Shubman Gill as he scored his fifth Test century, who had been struggling with form in Test cricket recently. So much so, that one of his shots left his teammate KL Rahul in awe.

A video of KL Rahul reacting to one of Shubman Gill’s shots during Day 3 of the IND vs BAN Test in Chennai has gone viral. In the video, Rahul can be seen sitting in the Indian dugout when Gill plays a pull shot to Bangladesh’s Nahid Rana for a boundary and reacts giving an expression full of awe. Indian men’s cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir can also be seen in the video clapping for Gill after the shot.

When Nahid Rana shortened his length, Gill stood tall and confidently pulled the ball from outside off-stump, driving it powerfully between mid-on and midwicket.

India In Driver's Seat In IND vs BAN, Chennai Test

Coming to the IND vs BAN Test, India after beinh put in to bat first, India faced some setbacks by losing wickets early in the innings but Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja revived India's batting innings with the former getting to his sixth Test century and Jadeja making a valuable fifty.

India bowled Bangladesh out for 149 in the opposition's first batting innings to secure a big lead of 227 runs. India decided to bat again and despite facing early setback once again, they were revived by Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant as they both brought up their individual hundreds.
