Australia Players Amused With Ice Cream Cup-Like Object Instead Of Trophy After Scotland Series Win. VIDEO
Australian team were amused with an ice-cream-like object for a trophy after their T20I series win over Scotland.
Australia might have registered a dominant T20I series win over Scotland but their series ended with a burst of laughter not only because of their performaces on the field but also because of the bizarre trophy that they were handed over post their series win. Not only the Australian players, who were amused themselves, but even the fans were left baffled as the Kangaroos were given an object resembling an "ice cream cup".
For the unversed, the mini-bowl, which is known in Scotland as a "quaich", is traditionally used for drinking whiskey or other beverages. But when the Australian T20I skipper Mitchell Marsh was handed over the trophy, the entire team was seen having a laugh together. The video quickly went viral online.
