Older Players Should Be Replaced By Younger Ones: 88-Year-Old 'Ammachi'
In the video, the 88-year-old fan is asked if India will win the Test, and she expresses doubt, saying that the senior players, including Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, are struggling. She suggests that the older players should be replaced by younger ones for better performance.
“This Test I don’t think . Now the captain they cannot play. Even Rohit, Kohli. Last time anyway, Kohli hit a hundred. But you know the old people, they cannot play you because I think they have to be changed. The younger generation.”

'Rohit Sharma Is Hopeless' Says The 88-Year-Old Indian Fan
The fan criticised Rohit Sharma, calling him ‘good for nothing’ and ‘hopeless’, expressing frustration with his performance. She also suggests that Tilak Varma should replace KL Rahul in the Indian team, although she speculates that politics might be involved. She adds that while she once liked Rohit, she was disappointed when he stayed back for the birth of his second child during the Perth Test of BGT.
“Good for nothing nowadays, Rohit. Rohit is hopeless you know. All these times, in place of Rahul they should keep Tilak. He is very good but maybe the politics, I don't know. If i would have been there, i would have put Tilak. I liked Rohit but when it came that he was staying (for) the birth of his second child, I was aghast. Is that necessary that his presence is there? Especially him being the captain.”
When asked if Rohit should have prioritised the Indian team over his child, the 88-year-old said, “Oh, his child, his second child! His parents are there, doctors are there.”
She also shared that Sachin Tendulkar is her all-time favorite player, praising his ability to place the ball between the fielders.
“Sachin, because he plays very well. Always, you know, put the ball in between (fielders), that is the best thing. No one has taken that place,” she says.
