'AAP Promises, BJP Delivers': Amit Shah On Allegations Of BJP Copying AAP Schemes

Amit Shah hit out at Arvind Kejriwal saying that the AAP convenor only makes 'excuses' and don't have the strength to answer to the people.

Union Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday held a roadshow in Delhi's Kasturba Nagar Assembly constituency where he attacked the Aam Aadmi Party for not fulfilling promises made to the people in the capital.

Amit Shah exuded confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is going to win the Delhi elections, which is scheduled on February 5. The BJP leader held the roadshow from Moolchand to Kasturba Nagar along with party leader Bansuri Swaraj.

The home minister said that the people of Delhi are fed up with the false promises and lies made to the people by the AAP government.

Speaking on AAP's claim of BJP in Haryana poisoning Yamuna water, Shah said, "People do not have faith on any of their claims." Shah hit out at Arvind Kejriwal saying that the AAP convenor only makes 'excuses' and don't have the strength to answer to the people.

On AAP's claims that the BJP is copying the promises run by the Delhi government, the home minister said, "They haven't implemented (promises). Some promises can be similar. But Modi's guarantees are definite. AAP only made promises, but we will implement the promises."

Shah, while speaking during a BJP rally in Kalkaji, said that Arvind Kejriwal should tell people what kind of poison was mixed in Yamuna. He accused Kejriwal of resorting to scare people with accusations against Haryana government.

"Delhi CM Atishi should also be asked for report on mixing of poison by Haryana govt in Yamuna water," Amit Shah said.

The BJP is making all out efforts to come back to power in Delhi after a gap of over 25 years. The party after 1998 has been kept out of power first by the Congress till 2013 and then by the AAP.
