Ranji Trophy 2022: Bihar's Sakibul Gani Becomes 1st Batsman To Score Triple Century On First Class Debut
Bihar vs Mizoram: Sakibul Gani has created history. He has become the first batsman in the world to score a triple century in a debut first-class match.
Ranji Trophy 2022, Sakibul Gani Triple Century: Friday, the Day 2 of the Ranji Trophy was marked by a world record set by a young boy from Bihar - Sakibul Gani.
The 22-year old boy from Motihari in Bihar scored 341 runs which include a whopping 56 4s. Sakibul Gani has created history. He has become the first batsman in the world to score a triple century in a debut first-class match.
In the match being played against Mizoram in Kolkata, Bihar's Sakibul Ghani played a historic inning of 341 runs in 405 balls.

Earlier the record for most runs on debut was in the name of Ajay Rajkumar Rothera.
22-year-old Sakibul Ghani was caught off the ball of Iqbal Abdullah. Earlier, Ajay Rajkumar Rothera had the record of scoring the most runs in full class debut. He scored 267 runs in his first match.

Bablu Kumar scored a double century
Apart from Sakibul Ghani for Bihar, Bablu Kumar scored a double century. Bablu returned unbeaten after scoring 229 runs in 398 balls. Bihar had lost their three wickets for just 71 runs. After this, there was a partnership of 399 runs between Sakibul and Bablu. Bihar declared their innings for 686 runs for the loss of five wickets.
At the end of Day 2, Mizoram's score was 40/3 and they trailed by 646 runs.
