COVID-19: Pakistan Cricket Hafeez Claims He's Covid-19 Negative A Day After PCB Announces Positive Result

Hafeez, who tested postive for Corona virus on Tuesday and was amongst the 10 players from the touring party to England, went ahead for a second opinion on the test and got all his family members tested too, and surprisingly returned negative for Corona virus within 24 hours.

Pakistan all rounder Mohammad Hafeez on Wednesday embarrassed the Pakistan Cricket Board by publicly debunking their Corona testing standards and stopped short of calling it fabricated. Hafeez, who tested postive for Corona virus on Tuesday and was amongst the 10 players from the touring party to England, went ahead for a second opinion on the test and got all his family members tested too, and surprisingly returned negative for Corona virus within 24 hours. He published the report on his social media handle as evidence and this action is seen as direct defiance of the PCB testing procedures. It remains to be seen if other cricketers too join Hafeez in testing separately and challenging the report to be available for the series and what action will the England board take on this latest development. It remains to be seen what action PCB will take against him or include him in the touring squad that is expected to depart to UK for the series on July 28.
