PAK vs ENG Test: Kevin Pietersen Takes A Dig At Multan Pitch, Calls It 'Bowlers GRAVEYARD'

Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen took to social media and slammed the Multan Cricket Stadium pitch for offering no assistance to the bowlers during the Pakistan vs England Multan Test.

The Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan is hosting the ongoing Pakistan vs England 1st Test of the three-match series and the pitch has already come under heavy scrutiny for being a flat surface with the first day’s play yet to be completed. Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen took to social media and called the Multan pitch ‘bowlers GRAVEYARD.’ Cricket fans also took to social media and voiced their frustration on the pitch being overly batting-friendly in Multan.

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Pakistan lost an early wicket in opener Saim Ayub, but captain Shan Masood and the other opener Abdullah Shafique compiled a 254-run partnership on a pitch that seemed to offer no assistance to the bowlers. Masood compiled his century in just 102 balls having hit 10 fours and two sixes.
