WATCH: Dale Steyn Picks Top Five Pacers For ODI World Cup 2023; One Indian Makes List

Dale Steyn has given Indian fast bowler Mohammad Siraj a place at the top of his list. Siraj, at present, is the number-one bowler in the ICC Men's ODI rankings for bowlers.

ODI World Cup 2023 in India: Former South African cricketer Dale Steyn has named five fast bowlers who can create a big impact in the upcoming ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023 in India. South Africa pacer Dale Steyn's 'top five pacers for ODI World Cup 2023' list does not include premier Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah nor star pacers Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood. Steyn's top five bowlers list includes one bowler each from India, South Africa, Pakistan, New Zealand and England.

Dale Steyn has given Indian fast bowler Mohammad Siraj a place at the top of his list. Siraj, at present, is the number-one bowler in the ICC Men's ODI rankings for bowlers. Steyn chose Siraj over Bumrah, who has returned to the cricketing field after a gap of almost one year. Bumrah's recent performance was good in the Asia Cup 2023, which India won by defeating Sri Lanka in the finals.

Apart from India pacer Mohammad Siraj, Steyn has selected Kagiso Rabada from South Africa, Shaheen Shah Afridi from Pakistan, Trent Boult from New Zealand and Mark Wood from England in his list of top-5 bowlers for ODI World Cup 2023. While choosing Shaheen Shah Afridi, Steyn has advised Rohit Sharma to be cautious, while he has said that Trent Boult can become the bowler taking the highest wicket in this year's World Cup.
