LSG squad in IPL 2025: The IPL 2025 mega auction in Jeddah concluded with intense bidding as franchises competed for top talent from a pool of marquee players. With a total purse of ₹641.5 crore, standout deals included Rishabh Pant joining Lucknow Super Giants for ₹27 crore and Shreyas Iyer being signed by Punjab Kings for ₹26.75 crore, setting new records. Over two days, ten teams strategized to fill 204 slots for the upcoming season, solidifying the auction as a landmark event in IPL history.

Day 1 of the IPL 2025 mega auction saw Rishabh Pant become the most expensive player in IPL history, while Day 2 saw 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi creating history as the youngest player ever picked in an IPL auction. Suryavanshi, acquired by Rajasthan Royals for ₹1.10 crore, became a standout story of the auction.
