Indian Batsman Kedar Jadhav Turns Editor, Launches His Own Cricket Weekly Magazine
Kedar said that Cricket in Maharashtra and India on whole has given his am immense honor, and so, this magazine is his little effort to pay back.
Turning to commentary or writing columns might be a natural thing for all cricketers but Kedar Jadhav has a different take on it. The Team India middle-order batsman along with his wife Snehal Jadhav, launched his own weekly cricket magazine on Wednesday. Unveiling his weekly edition at an event launch earlier today, Kedar said that Cricket in Maharashtra and India on whole has given his am immense honour, and so, this magazine is his little effort to pay back.
"Playing for India and Maharashtra is an honour for me and I am enjoying it. So it is my responsibility to return this in some way," Kedar, the brain behind the weekly magazine said.
Moving forward, Kedar at the launch said, "This is a small step towards giving a platform for Maharashtra's players. I am happy that their performances will reach the readers through this weekly." The Batsman at the launch was accompanied by his wife Snehal who has contributed to the magazine equally. Snehal, who is also the publisher of the weekly edition, said "I have been with Kedar in his journey from club cricket to International level and have understood that every player needs immense support while he keeps performing. I am happy to be part of such platform that supports rising players." The print version is also being worked upon and will be released soon for the readers. The weekly magazine will include coaching aspects, fitness, nutrition and scouting tips from the experts. Meanwhile, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly today once again reiterate the Indian cricket board's willingness to host the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) this year and stated that their first priority is to stage the premier T20 tournament within the country itself.And the wait is over...
