And now as the Results of the Lok Sabha Election 2024 was declared on Tuesday (June 4), one of Archer's old tweet has resurfaced. Notably, the ruling party in India- Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP)'s entire campaign for the elections revolved around the 'Abki Baar 400 Paar' Mantra which clearly showed their aim of going past 400 seats in the General Elections.

However, with the BJP-led National Democartic Alliance (NDA) having to settle with less than 300 seats, Archer's old tweet has gone viral and seems to be a dig at the party even though it could be an observation on a cricket match and its score made years ago.

Meanwhile, among members of the cricket fraternity it was Yusuf Pathan and Kirti Azad, who had contested in the Lok Sabha Elections. Both were candidates of the All India Trinamool Congress (TMC), contesting from the Bahrampur and the Bardhaman-Durgapur Constituency respectively. Both emerged victorious, with Pathan beating Congress' Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury and Azad winning over BJP'sDilip Ghosh.
