Jalaj Saxena replaces injured Jayant Yadav in India B squad

All-rounder Jalaj Saxena has been named as the replacement of injured Jayant Yadav after the latter was ruled out of the Quadrangular series featuring India A, India B Australia A and South Africa A.

Jayant, an India B member, was ruled out of the tournament because of a right side strain after playing just one match in the tournament against South Africa A. The off-spinner returned with figures of 0-45 in the match, which India B won comfortably.

The Haryana all-rounder will undergo a rehab programme in the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore.

Meanwhile, Jalaj Saxena was rewarded for having a productive domestic season with Kerala scoring 552 runs with the bat and picking up 44 wickets in seven matches.
