With the strong batting and equally sorted bowling, the high-willed Mumbai Indians booked itself for the big day after defeating Shreyas Iyer led Delhi Capitals by 57 runs in the Qualifier 1 of the play-offs in season thirteen of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai on Thursday evening. The top placed Mumbai Brigade was the first team to secure a berth in the playoffs and now, the Unit have become the first team of the season to book itself for the Grand Finale, which is scheduled to be held on November 10.
When put to bat first, Quinton de Kock made a great start and slammed three boundaries in the first over itself. It won't be wrong to give a major bit of the credit to the South African cricketer for contributing solid 40 of 25 deliveries including 5 'Fours' and 1 'Six'.
Besides Kock, Suryakumar Yadav was another player garnering fans love with with his brilliant show this evening. The attacking right-handed batsman hit 6 'Fours' and 2 'Sixes' making 51 runs off 38 balls. Later, Pandya brothers strangled the Delhi spinners with their boundaries back to back.

Speaking of the loosing team from this evening, winning toss didn't turn favourable for Delhi capitals as it struggled dramatically with their batting order. Openers Prithvi Shaw, Ajinkya Rahane returned making absolutely none, with wicket courtesy to Trent Boult.
Later, even Dhawan and Sams were forced to return to the pavilion even before they could play any. Though Stoinis contributed solid 65 off 46 deliveries but all in vain as Bumrah changed the game taking away as many as 4 wickets in the game.
