Here's What Smriti Mandhana Said During Mid-Innings Break
"The wicket wasn't playing the way it was in the 1st match so had to change things initially. Had to be able to tackle that situation. It was necessary to take advantage with the grass on wicket. Harman di made my life easier. We had a great partnership and she got her hundred in the last over," said Mandhana.
"When you get a hundred in the last match it is important to not take it for granted. Doing the job for the team today was really important. They bowled brilliantly in the right areas upfront. You always start from zero," added the left-hander.
"The first 15 overs there was a lot of seam movement. Later on the wicket eased out. Under the lights it might move a bit. We have good seam bowlers. There are some cracks in the middle so the spinners will get some assistance. We just need to bowl in good areas," she further added.
