Ex-Pak PM Imran Khan's Bold Verdict On 'Virat Kohli Vs Babar Azam' Debate
Pakistan's former Prime Minister Imran Khan has shared his opinion on 'Virat Kohli vs Babar Azam' debate.
Pakistan's Babar Azam and India's Virat Kohli have impressive statistics across formats, are highly accomplished batters and have their own strengths. Over the years, both Babar and Virat won several accolades for putting up a stellar show in international and franchise cricket and are widely regarded as two modern-day legends of the sport. Fans often make comparisons between the two and if we compare their stats in ODIs and T20Is, Babar Azam's statistics, without any doubt, makes him one of the best white-ball players in this generation alongside Virat Kohli.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's former Prime Minister Imran Khan, one of the greatest Pakistani all-rounders of all time, shared his opinion on 'Virat Kohli vs Babar Azam' debate. While making it clear that he hasn't been following cricket recently but believes Babar Azam and Virat Kohli belong to the same class. Pakistan cricket team, led by an injured captain Imran Khan, won their first World Cup in 1992. The tournament was hosted in Australia & New Zealand.
"I haven't recently seen cricket, but I believe that Virat Kohli and Babar Azam belong to the same class. Babar Azam can surpass Virat Kohli; he is that good, from what I have seen," Imran Khan told the local reporters, as quoted by Cricket Pakistan.

Imran Khan, who played many memorable innings for his country, said he does not enjoy T20 cricket.
"I do not enjoy T20 cricket that much in terms of batting. I like Test cricket. I saw on mobile that Australia won the World Test Championship after defeating India," the ex-Pak all-rounder told local reporters.
Babar Azam has made a name for himself in his short career. The 28-year-old has scored 9 centuries in Tests, 18 in ODIs and 3 centuries in T20 International cricket.
