Punjab-born cricketer Arshdeep Singh is facing heavy criticism from fans for his below-par figures in the 20th over. The 24-year-old was hit for 22 runs in the final over of second (Ireland) innings, which included a boundary and two maximum. He also bowled a no-ball in this over which was hammered for a six. The left-arm pacer ended up being the costliest bowler in the match as he finished with shambolic bowling figures of 1-35 in his four overs spell. The only positive for Arshdeep during his spell was him getting wicket of in-form  Curtis Campher, who scored 39 off 33 deliveries.

Arshdeep was trolled mercilessly by fans on X (formerly Twitter) for leaking too many runs in the 20th over and this isn't the first time when the talented youngster flopped in the death overs. In the recently-concluded India vs West Indies T20I series, Arshdeep was hit for 18 runs in the penultimate over of 4th T20I. India, though, defeated Windies by 9 wickets in that game.
