IND Vs ENG 3rd T20: India Would Look To Capitalize On The Good Form Which They Are Currently In | Match Preview, Time

India vs England 3rd T20 promises to be a blockbuster as the series lies in balance at 1-1. Read the match preview here.

After an average Test series, England came back strong in the 1st T20 against India. India also retaliated with a good batting performance in the second match to defeat England. A lot of the credit to both the results must be attributed to the pitches. Both the T20s were played on two different wickets even though at the same ground. The first, which had a bit of pace in it favored the England bowlers, while the other which was used in the second match favored the Indian batsmen.

The third T20 is going to be played on a red soil pitch, similar to what we have in Australia. Both the captains look confident going in the game. Eoin Morgan stressed on the fact that the World Cup was in seven months’ time and the preparations are in that direction. "To become better in these conditions, the only way you do that is by playing and making mistakes. You tend to learn quicker if you're winning and confident and everything goes reasonably smoothly - you can integrate the learning quite quickly - but equally, if we have to learn the hard way, we're still going through that process of trying to learn game-on-game so when it comes to the World Cup in seven months' time, we can be as best prepared or know more about ourselves and where we need to get better before then,” said Eoin Morgan. While Kohli was all praises for his death bowlers. "We ticked all the boxes we wanted to and to give away only 34 odd in the last five overs is very special effort. Special mention to Washi and everyone chipped in and all in all very happy with the bowling and batting as well," said the Indian captain.

India’s opening batting hasn’t been firing and it is expected that Rohit Sharma, who was rested for the first two games might return in the third T20I. The game promises to be a good contest. A lot of runs can be scored in the 3rd T20I due to the nature of the pitch. The captain winning the toss would want to bat first and get a big total on board.

The match will be played on 16 March 2021 at 7 pm, IST. The live telecast would be available on Disney+Hotstar.
