IND vs BAN Kanpur Test records: Team India broke several records with their relentless batting performance on Day 4 of the IND vs BAN 2nd Test in Kanpur.

Bangladesh was dismissed for 233 runs in their first innings. In reply, Indian batters adopted a T20 approach, scoring runs quickly. They declared their first innings at 285/9. The visitors were off to a poor start in their second innings as they lost two quick wickets before stumps on day 4.

1. Virat Kohli scored 47 runs on Day 4 of IND vs BAN Kanpur Test, and with his 35th run, he set a record for becoming the fastest player to reach 27,000 runs in international cricket.

2. On Day 4 of IND vs BAN Kanpur Test, Rohit Sharma made history by hitting two sixes off the first two balls he faced, becoming the first opener in Test cricket to achieve this feat.

3. Openers Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal combined for a 55-run partnership for the first wicket, which came in only 23 balls, achieving a scoring rate of 14.34, which set a new record for the highest scoring rate in Test cricket.

4. India and Bangladesh together scored 437 runs on Day 4 of Kanpur Test, marking the highest total ever recorded on Indian soil for day 4 in Test cricket.

5. KL Rahul scored 68 runs from 43 balls. He reached his fifty in just 33 deliveries, making him one of the joint fifth players to achieve the fastest half-century for India in Test cricket.

6. Yashasvi Jaiswal reached his 50 off just 31 balls to become the fastest Indian opener to score a fifty in Test cricket. With this milestone, he surpassed the record previously held by legendary opener Virender Sehwag (32 balls).

7. India's aggressive batting resulted in an impressive run rate of 8.22 during their innings of 285/9 in just 34.4 overs. This achievement sets a new record for the highest run rate in any men's Test innings exceeding 100 runs.

8. India reached the 50-run milestone in just 18 balls, marking the first time in Test cricket history that a team scored 51 runs within the first three overs.

9. The Indian team has set records for being the fastest to reach 100 runs in 10.1 overs, 200 runs in 24.2 overs, and 250 runs in Test cricket.

10. Team India has set a record for hitting most sixes in Test cricket in a calendar year, with a total of 96 sixes so far this year.
