World Cup 2019: How to book your tickets, what are ticket prices?

The demand for tickets for the cricket carnival which happens once in four years is mind boggling, with tickets for England and India’s games being already sold out. 

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will get underway in the United Kingdom from tomorrow with hosts England locking horns with South Africa at The Oval cricket ground in London. The ICC World Cup is being hosted for the record fifth time in United Kingdom and the hosts will be aiming to win their maiden World Cup title after faltering at the final hurdle on three previous occasions. The die-hard cricket fans across the world have left no stone upturned to grab tickets for high-voltage matches at the showpiece event in which their favourite teams and cricketing superstars are playing. However, there are still some games for which the fans have a realistic chance of grabbing a ticket and have a ball in the park with the action in full fury. Here is how you can book tickets for the World Cup games and how much would it cost you -  How to book tickets online? Go to the official https://tickets.cricketworldcup.com and you need to create or register an account to apply / book tickets. The tickets will be available for booking on a first-come, first served basis. if one is successful in purchasing the tickets, the same will be sent out by Royal Mail Tracked, or DHL Tracked for overseas delivery. Once the tickets are on the way, the applicant will receive a tracking number from either Royal Mail/DHL. The latest one can receive the tickets is 5 days before the selected match. What is the prize of the ticket? Fans will have to shell out 40 British Pounds (approximately Rs 3,600) for the cheapest ticket. The most expensive is 100 British Pounds, which works out to approximately Rs 9000. For matches which are being dubbed as high voltage clashes, English and Indian fans will have to shed out a minimum of £55 (Rs 5,000) and £70 (Rs 6,200) and most of the tickets fall in the prize band of above £100 (Rs 9,000). The ICC has emphasized that 80,000 tickets will cost £20 (Rs 1,800) or less and 200,000 will cost £50 (Rs 4,500) or less. However, the ICC’s ticketing policy has stated that 80,000 tickets will cost GBP 20 or less and 200,000 will cost GBP 50 or less, so supporters of other teams are likely to find value when tickets go on sale.
