Hyderabad Women's Coach Suspended After Viral Video Shows Him Consuming Alcohol In Team Bus
Head coach of the senior women's cricket team of Hyderabad, Vidyuth Jaisimha, will remain suspended until detailed investigation.
Head coach of the senior women's cricket team of Hyderabad, Vidyuth Jaisimha, was suspended by the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) President A Jagan Mohan Rao on Friday (February 16). The action by the state cricket association was taken on the basis of an official complaint received on the email as a viral video circulating on social media and media channels. In the viral clip, Jaisimha can be seen consuming alcohol while sitting inside the team bus.
Meanwhile, accusations of the coach misbehaving with the female cricketers have also surfaced. Even though the state association was prompt to relieve him of his coaching duties, Jaisimha said that the allegations against him are due to non-inclusion of former cricketer’s daughter as quoted in an Indian Express Report.
However, if the video is to be believed, he could be indeed seeing consuming alcohol. Having said that ABP Live could not independently verify the authenticity of the clip.

HCA President Calls This Matter Of Serious Concern
Meanwhile, HCA President Rao has termed the incident a matter of serious concern and said that a final decision will be taken after investigation until which the coach shall remain suspended.
"This is a matter of serious concern and I have asked for a thorough investigation and a decision will be taken after the probe," stated Jagan Mohan Rao in his letter to Vidyuth on Friday as quoted by TOI.
The complaints through the email allege that Vidyuth has been "drinking openly" and is "always drunk and misbehaving with the girls". The complaint also said that when asked to stop, he threatens them by speaking about his friendship with bureaucrats and police officials.
