ENG vs AUS, Ashes 2019, 5th Test: Australia Opt To Bowl; Starc Misses Out
Australia currently lead the five-match series 2-1 and have already retained the Ashes Urn
Australia would be high in confidence after retaining the Ashes last week and are now looking forward to sealing the series when they meet arch-rivals England at Kennington Oval on Thursday. The visitors have made a few changes into the line-up as they have already announced a 12-man squad for the final face-off.
All-rounder Mitchell Marsh has found a place as a back-up bowling option and had has replaced Travis Head.
On the other hand, England who would fight to salvage pride, have shown confidence on the same bunch of players. They had announced an unchanged 12 for the fifth Test.
Toss Update:
Australia captain Tim Paine won the toss and elected to bowl in the fifth and final Ashes Test against England beginning Thursday at the Kia Oval. They have made two changes in their Playing XI—Mitchell Marsh replaces Travis Head and Peter Siddle comes in place of Mitchell Starc.
England brought in Sam Curran and Chris Woakes for Jason Roy and Craig Overton.
