Babar Azam Creates Unwanted 'Never-Seen-Before' Record With Latest Failure Vs West Indies

PAK Vs WI: Babar Azam creates an unwanted record with his latest failure. Read below for details.

PAK Vs WI: Pakistan batting stalwart Babar Azam has hit a new low, as the right-handed batsman records yet another historic failure during the 2nd Test match vs West Indies at Multan. The incident occured during the 4th innings of the match on Day 2, where Babar Azam departed for 31, thereby, stretching his run to 61 innings without a Test ton.

With this, he now becomes the first top order batsman to go 60+ innings without a Test ton.

Such failures from Babar Azam are raising concerns over the nearby future of Pakistan Cricket, as the side's quest to dominate the red-ball cricket looks like a distant dream for now. Barring the likes of Sajid Khan, Nauman Ali, Shan Masood, and Saim Ayub, Pakistan have find it difficult to gather a squad of match-winners.

Mohammad Rizwan is constantly getting runs, but when needed the most, the white-ball skipper of the nation fails to show up.

Pakistan are currently reeling at 76/4 at Stumps, Day 2, and require 178 more runs to win the 2nd Test and seal the series 2-0.

Can WI Do The Unthinkable & End Their 35-Year Wait?

The last time West Indies won a Test match in Pakistan was way back in 1990. Since then, the Caribbeans have been sub-par with their performances in the sub-continent region, especially Pakistan.

The tail-end of West Indies have arguably played the knock of their lives, as their vital contributions have handed the side a massive advantage against Pakistan.

The surface at Multan is already a tough one, and Day 3 will add more misery for the batters, as chasing anything above 200 is in itself a miracle.

With the ball staying low, and turning sharply, only world-class batting display can save Pakistan on Monday.
