Pakistan's batting collapse was particularly shocking, with all 10 batters getting out within 30.2 overs during the second and third sessions of the fourth day's play.

Before the start of Australia vs Pakistan 1st Test in Perth, Pakistan held a perfect win percentage (100%). However, post the defeat in AUS vs PAK Perth Test, their win percentage has now dropped to 66.67%. Consequently, Pakistan is now sharing the No. 1 position in the points table with India.
Nathan Lyon completes 500 wickets in international cricket
For Australia, Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc both bagged three wickets each, while spinner Nathan Lyon dismissed two batters. Lyon, by securing his first wicket in the second innings, scripted history.
Nathan Lyon is now the eighth bowler to complete 500 wickets in Tests and has joined Glenn McGrath and Shane Warne as the third Australian to achieve 500 or more wickets in Tests.
