Having helped his team march to the final of the World Cup after 27 years, speedster Jofra Archer missed his international Test debut for England as he continued his rehabilitation from a side strain and was asked to play a T20 game for Sussex, following a three-day game to prove that he is fit and all set to debut for England in the second Ashes Test against arch-rivals Australia at Lords. Archer had suffered a side strain during the 2019 World Cup. Australia completed a stunning fightback at Edgbaston to take a 1-0 Ashes lead and collect 24 points in the World Test Championship. With this win, the Aussie go to the top of the World Test Championship points table and hold a commanding 24-point lead over everybody.
