Alex Hales added 69 runs with Ferguson for the second wicket, 53 runs for the third wicket with Sam Billings, while sharing a 54-run partnership with Ben Cutting for the fourth wicket.

With this, Sydney Thunder achieved the biggest score in the history of the Big Bash League (BBL). Sydney Sixers tried their best to chase down the mammoth target but they missed it by 46 runs.
