2024 Archery World Cup Shanghai: Deepika Kumari defeated former world number 1 Katharina Bauer 7-3 in 2nd round, and 6th seeded Jeon HunYoung of South Korea 6-4 in quarter finals to progress into the semi finals of the 2024 Archery World Cup. Deepika Kumari will now be facing 7th seeded Nam Suhyeon of South Korea on Sunday, April 28. Deepika Kumari was in inspired form on Friday and the other participating countries are being put on alert as India are decimating their opponents so far in the mega event.

India is in incredible form at the ongoing Archery World Cup Shanghai and have varoius medal contenders as few players are now in assured contention of winning a medal. In the Compound Mixed Team event, Jyothi Vennam and Abhishek Verma Verma progressed into the Final after beating Mexico 155-151 in Semis.
Elsewhere, a hope for gold medal was dashed in the Recurve Mixed Team event, as Ankita Bhakat and Dhiraj will be fighting for the Bronze medal after losing to South Korea 0-6 in Semis
