Rio Olympics: Indian women's hockey team makes stunning comeback to hold Japan 2-2

Rio de Janeiro: Trailing 0-2, India staged a great comeback to hold Japan 2-2 in their opening match of the Olympic women’s hockey competition here on Sunday. Emi Nishikori put Japan ahead in the 14th minute by converting a penalty corner while Mie Nakashima made it 2-0 in the 28th minute with a fine field goal. Indian rallied back and reduced the margin when Rani Rampal scored off a penalty corner in the 30th minute and 10 minutes later, Lilima Minz drew parity by converting another penalty corner into goal (2-2).
